Community Event for Creative Artists

To further our mission for financial mindfulness for the creative community, we partnered with BREAD (Building Racial Equity in the Arts through Dance) and facilitated the most insightful event: Accounting for Artists!

This event was tailored for creatives and artists who want to practice Financial Mindfulness, covering topics such as 1099s & W2s, Self-Employment, and possible Tax Deductions designed specifically for performing artists.

Attendees began the session with a meditation exercise to calm our minds, hosted by our Founder, Zunie Nguyen. This was followed by multiple financial presentations from Jill Skinner, Megan Bautista and Tierra Bonds.
