As a founder of a financial mindfulness practice, I define financial mindfulness as being fully present and aware of one's financial decisions, habits, and emotions. It involves a deep understanding of one's relationship with money and tapping on that awareness to make intentional and conscious financial choices. Financial Mindfulness also means employing a values-based approach to making financial decisions. Financial decisions revolve around the things we care about, and as such, let's think about how to develop a system of guiding principles to make these decisions.
